The old adage, "you are what you eat," applies across the board to several contributions to oral health. In order to maintain a healthy, white smile, we suggest you follow a dietary plan that includes these types of foods: dairy products, leafy greens, and fibrous fruits and vegetables. These are the main foods which will present the most benefits for your oral health.Substances that Sustain Healthy SmilesProducts which contain dairy (such as cheese, yogurt, and milk) are chock full of nutrients which fortify and whiten your teeth. They contain plenty of lactic acid and mineral calcium; two ingredients which are more than adept to strengthening your enamel. Leafy greens provide a wide array of flavor and are known for being a healthy food for their nutrients, but are often overlooked when it comes to oral health. Being low in calories and high in vitamins, leafy greens are the perfect calcium-ridden substitute. They also contain folic acid, which is a type of B vitamin that provides a number of health benefits. Last, but certainly not least, fibrous fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, celery, strawberries, etc., are a particularly wonderful source of many nutrients which will help you maintain a healthy, white smile. From the enzyme in strawberries called malic acid to vitamins A and C in celery, fibrous fruits and vegetables are a healthy way to not have to worry about overindulging. How to Gather Further InformationWe recommend including these three food groups into your diet in order to maintain a healthy, white smile.
